The Projet

Since 1945, Eugène Cloutier of Quebec City has been making moccasins, mukluks and slippers inspired by the American Indian. This company stands out for the very high quality of its products, but also for its incredible attention to detail. Experienced artisans ensure that each component (moose hide, suede, sheep’s wool, beads) meets strict design and quality standards.

 
Strategy

Eugène Cloutier is first and foremost a manufacturer that distributes its products in stores. In order to meet its target market outside of Quebec, we opted for a redesign of an existing site with an emphasis on respect for the Laurentian Chief brand. We also pushed SEO content to increase organic traffic and conversion rate.

 
Design

For Eugene Cloutier’s new website, we opted for a visual in the company’s colors. In addition, the company’s catalog was enriched with vibrant color photos for each product as well as filters to facilitate navigation for visitors. 

 
Development

To meet Eugene Cloutier’s expansion needs, we opted for the Prestashop e-commerce platform. This platform allows us to have a bilingual web page without additional costs, it is easy to use and manage and offers a better SEO possibility.
